The much maligned Paul Gascoigne was a player with a huge talent… but we are finding here he also has a huge heart. He turned up in our office for a meeting this morning armed with croissants, pasteries and insisted everyone tuck in.

When it was one of our staff’s birthdays, he met her for a TV interview she had set up with a bunch of flowers and last night when he appeared on Richard and Judy he gave his goody bag to her too.

He always leaves by thanking everyone. I can’t tell you how much we all hope he wins his fight with his demons… he has so much to offer.

This week we signed a big publishing deal on behalf of Paul Gascoigne, who is in the best shape he has been in for years. Gazza has been much maligned, but the work he has done at the excellent Sporting Chance clinic in Hampshire, has him back on track again.

He is entertaining company, has great insight but still admits to being extremely fragile. We all wish him well.
